Zachman, Chairman of the Board, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stan T. Locke as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Zachman Framework Associates. Mr. Locke, who graduated from Queen’s University Kingston with both a B.Com (Accounting) and an M.B.A. (Information Systems), brings 30 years of experience in the software, systems, and enterprise architecture communities to his position as Chief Operating Officer. This appointment also marks an enlarged mission of Zachman Framework Associates, which has operated in North America for the past six years, to now act as the worldwide consortium for Zachman Enterprise Architecture metamodels. Encompassed in this metamodel management activity will be the publication of framework metamodels, base standards, repository design requirements, methodology integration, articles, books, and the education curriculum program consistent with the Zachman Framework. Since 1999, Zachman Framework Associates has partnered with executive education suppliers Intervista Institute (Miami and Montreal) and IRM UK to assemble a series of courses, content, and resources based on the Zachman Framework that will encourage the ongoing Professional Development of Enterprise Architects. Currently attended by hundreds annually, this practical enterprise architecture program has been well received in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia, and with the addition of world renowned information engineer, Clive Finkelstein, this trend is expected to continue. Mr. Finkelstein has taught an Implementing Enterprise Architecture course since 2002, with particular emphasis on his Strategic Modeling methodology. Zachman Framework Associates will have offices in Toronto, Los Angeles and London.
